About

“I’ve dreamed of owning a bio blurb in a 2075 literature anthology; however, this is probably the closest I’ll ever come.”

Louisa Friesen Miller

Hi and welcome to my blog! Wife, English teacher, friend, and commercially licensed driver are all hats I wear proudly. An excellent author, mother, and student describe who I want to become. Selfish, dominant, and painfully blunt describe some weakness I’m working to improve. Social, driven, and loyal are some strengths I care about maintaining. Godly, truthful, and kind are words I wish to be remembered for in my obituary.

Some of my hobbies include brisk walks, talking (including but not limited to chatting, discussing, arguing, joking, mimicking funny things I hear or see), laughing at private jokes, reading, listening to people singing with better voices than mine, organizing my home, writing lesson plans, public speaking, a competitive game of softball, and attempting to write poems, stories, and essays.

I am either uninterested in, absolutely despise, or am an abject failure in the following areas: sewing, singing bass, working-out regularly, speaking with an inside-voice, playing a game without keeping score, petting or pretending to enjoy cats and dogs, long conversational pauses, and the answer “I don’t care either way.”
